Watch for Early Signs of Pregnancy
Knowing the early signs of pregnancy can help you be sure that you and your baby are well taken care of from the very beginning. For most women, the first sign of pregnancy is missing a period. If your period has not started within a week of when your normal cycle should occur, take a home pregnancy test. If it is negative, try waiting a few more days to take another test.

Some women experience multiple symptoms of pregnancy in their first trimester and others experience none at all. The best way to confirm if you are pregnant is to schedule a visit with a gynecologist.
Schedule Your Preconception Check-Up
Scheduling a preconception checkup is the best way to ensure a healthy pregnancy. Your OB/GYN will make sure you’re healthy enough to conceive and have a safe pregnancy. They will also discuss a plan to get off any birth control, guide you in choosing a prenatal vitamin and discuss your family’s health history.
