Please enter through the Northwest entrance on the ground level and take the elevator to the second floor. Once you reach the second floor, take an immediate left and follow the Labor and Delivery unit signs. Here you will be greeted and helped with the check-in process.

About Our Labor & Delivery Suites

Our labor and delivery suites offer many amenities for the whole family. For laboring moms, we have specialized labor beds that will allow different positions and spacious private bathrooms. The infant care center, equipped with an infant warmer, is provided to care for your newborn in the room throughout your stay.  And for your guests, each room has a small seating area, free WiFi, and a flat-screen television to provide some small comforts of home.

For vaginal deliveries, you will labor, deliver, and recover in the same room. If your birth requires a cesarean section, our nurses will take you into our specialized operating suite located just a few feet away from your labor suite.

After Delivery

After delivery, you and your baby will transition into a postpartum room, which also provides accommodations for a partner. Once you are in postpartum, you will have access to a nurse specializing in the care of newborns and postpartum mothers. In addition to your routine care, these highly trained nurses are available for breastfeeding assistance, infant testing, and answering any questions you may have about caring for yourself and your baby once you are home.

Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock also offers a Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and trained nurses who can care for premature infants or those suffering from moderate illness upon birth.
