Evan Watts, MD, Joins Baptist Health Heart Institute, Serving Patients in Little Rock, El Dorado

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.Baptist Health Heart Institute recently welcomed cardiologist Evan Watts, MD. He practices general cardiology and interventional cardiology, and has a specific interest in structural heart interventions and valvular heart disease.

“I believe that taking a true heart team approach to each patient ensures the best possible outcome,” said Dr. Watts. I undertook advanced training in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease to provide the people of Arkansas with access to the highest levels of care.”

Dr. Watts received his medical education from the University of Arkansas for Medical Science, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine. He completed fellowship training in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and structural heart disease at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

In addition to seeing patients at Arkansas Cardiology Clinic-Little Rock, 9501 Baptist Health Drive, Suite 600, he additionally offers services at Baptist Health Heart Institute Satellite Clinic-El Dorado on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. The El Dorado clinic is located at 403 W. Oak St., Suite 206.

Dr. Watts is married with two children. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and being an avid Razorback sports fan. He also enjoys spending time with his loved ones on their family farm.
