Dr. Gunter Cain Joins Baptist Health Spine Center

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Dr. Gunter Cain, whose specialty is pain management, recently joined the staff at Baptist Health Spine Center.

Originally from Mississippi, Cain earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Afterward, Cain finished a Fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of North Carolina.

“My ultimate goal is to see patients return to their everyday activities with less pain and an improved quality of life,” said Cain. “Our clinic accomplishes this by incorporating a comprehensive and multifaceted approach to pain management that’s tailored to each individual patient’s needs.”

Cain provides a thorough diagnostic workup and offers a wide array of interventional procedures, pharmacological therapy, in-house physical therapy and facilitating surgical consultations when appropriate.

Some of the services Cain offers are epidural steroid injections, facet injections, medial branch nerve blocks/rhizotomy, neuromodulation including spinal cord stimulation, joint injections and peripheral nerve blocks/ablations.

Baptist Health Spine Center is located at 9101 Kanis Road, Suite 150, in Little Rock and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
