STUTTGART, Ark. –Baptist Health Medical Center-Stuttgart is hosting a community health fair focused on safety on Thursday, May 11, from 3 to 6:30 p.m. at the hospital.
Free blood pressure checks will be offered along with educational materials on mammograms, blood sugar and diabetes. Other agencies that will be on hand are AR Saves, Stuttgart Fire Department, ARORA, Greater Delta Health Alliance, Southern Paramedic, Alzheimer’s Association and Arkansas Blood Institute. The institute will be hosting a blood drive at the event.
The Baptist Health MedFlight helicopter will be on site, too. MedFlight personnel will be available to answer general questions about the air ambulance and transporting patients from across the state to medical facilities.
The community is invited to attend the health fair to learn about all the services available at Baptist Health Medical Center-Stuttgart as well as the many offerings from other health-related groups.
