Baptist Health Holding Free COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics in Southwest Arkansas on Sept. 11

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Baptist Health Community Outreach will travel to two southwest Arkansas communities for vaccine clinics on Saturday, Sept. 11.

  • Malvern Senior Center, 1800 W. Moline St. in Malvern: First doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be administered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The two-part clinic will be for residents 12 years of age or older. Those coming to be vaccinated must also be available for a second dose on Friday, Oct. 1, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the same location.
  • Plyler’s Hardware & Sporting Goods, 406 N. Elm St. in Gurdon: The single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be administered from 3 to 5 p.m. for residents 18 years of age or older.

Please bring proof of identification when you arrive for your vaccination. Participants will receive a $50 gift card. 

By taking action and getting the vaccine, you are not only protecting yourself from serious illness, but also helping to protect your family, friends, coworkers and fellow residents.

The Baptist Health Mobile Health Unit is traveling across the state this year, offering mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics to help get more Arkansans vaccinated. It also provides free screenings and prevention education from Baptist Health’s team of caregivers.
