Baptist Health Community Outreach Offering Variety of Virtual, In-Person Education Classes This Month

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – In June, join Baptist Health Community Outreach for a variety of free virtual and in-person education classes to help Arkansans lead healthy and happy lives.

The following virtual courses can be accessed through Google Meet. Specific links to join each class are available by visiting baptist-health.com/community-outreach.

  • Cholesterol 101 on Thursday, June 10, at noon
  • Cooking with Community Outreach on Thursday, June 17, at 5:30 p.m.
  • Diabetes Support Group on Thursday, June 24, at 5:30 p.m.
  • Menopause and Weight Gain on Tuesday, June 29, at 11:30 a.m.

Baptist Health Community Outreach is also offering the following in-person classes:

  • The Anatomy of Pregnancy – Space is limited for new and expectant parents only. Pre-registration is required, and participants can register by calling (501)202-1540.
    • Thursday, June 3, and Thursday, June 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Baptist Health Community Outreach, 10117 Kanis Road in Little Rock
    • Thursday, June 3, and Thursday, June 17, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Baptist Health Community Wellness Center-Heaven’s Loft, 518 W. 26th St. in North Little Rock
  • Know It, Control It (Blood Pressure Management Program) – Space is limited. Pre-registration is required, and participants can register by calling (501) 202-1540.
    • Thursdays in June (June 3, 10, 17 and 24) from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Baptist Health Community Outreach, 10117 Kanis Road in Little Rock
  • Diabetes Education Program – Space is limited. Pre-registration is required, and participants can register by calling (501) 202-1540.
    • Fridays in June (June 4, 11, 18, 25) from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Baptist Health Community Outreach, 10117 Kanis Road in Little Rock
