‭Baptist Health, in a joint venture with Urgent Team, one of the Southeast’s largest independent operators of ‭urgent and family care centers, currently has urgent care centers in North Little Rock, Bryant and Jacksonville.

‭“We’re very excited to expand urgent care services to the residents in Benton,” said Troy Wells, president and ‭CEO of Baptist Health. “Providing convenient access and affordable care for urgent, but non-emergency needs, is a ‭strategic focus we’re intent on providing throughout Arkansas.”

“We’re privileged to partner with such a highly-respected healthcare organization,” said Mike Dupuis, Urgent Team Division Vice President. “Our goal is to meet the growing patient needs for quality care delivered in a convenient ‭location at an affordable price.”

‭Baptist Health’s expansion into urgent care provides unscheduled access to care for patients, as well as supports Baptist Health physicians who want to provide an after-hours option to their patients. While an individual’s ‭primary care provider should be the main choice since the physicians knows the patient’s entire medical history, ‭sometimes immediate care is needed.
