What is erectile dysfunction?
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a common type of male sexual dysfunction in which a man has trouble getting or keeping an erection.
What are the symptoms?
- Persistent trouble getting or keeping an erection
- Reduced sexual desire
What treatment options are available?
Erectile dysfunction could be a sign of a health condition, such as heart disease or poorly controlled diabetes, that needs treatment. Treating an underlying problem may be enough to reverse your ED. Other treatment options include oral medications and testosterone replacement therapy. Low testosterone (Low-T) can be diagnosed through a simple screening questionnaire and blood test.
