Baptist Health Pediatric Clinic offers a wide range of medical treatments for the children of Fort Smith, Van Buren, and surrounding communities. As a pediatric clinic, we listen to our patients and their caregivers to work together to address healthcare needs, no matter how big or small. 

Our comprehensive medical facility treats acute injuries and illnesses, such as strep throat, to chronic conditions, such as diabetes or asthma. Prevention plays a significant role in our pediatric medical services and includes physicals, immunizations, health assessments, and more.

Baptist Health Pediatric Clinic in Fort Smith, AR, welcomes you to our practice. Once you have made your initial appointment, please read through the information below to help streamline your child’s first visit with us.

Established patients may sign in to the MyChart patient portal to schedule an appointment, request an appointment, or cancel an upcoming visit with their primary care provider. Before your scheduled visit with your provider, you can use eCheck-In to update insurance information, medications, allergies, fill out questionnaires, and sign documents.

What can I expect at my first visit?

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our friendly frontline staff. They will help ensure you have completed any necessary patient forms and that we have the needed copies of your insurance card and driver’s license for verification. Once your insurance is verified, our staff will collect it at this time if there is a copayment. 

The first visit with a provider is typically longer. We use this appointment to review your medical history and learn how to best help with your child’s medical care.

What should I bring?

When checking in at the front desk, please bring the following patient information:

• Insurance card
• List of medications your child is currently taking
• Recent labs (within the last year)
• Imaging records
• List of all providers your child has seen within the last five years if applicable
  • We need specialists’ names and phone numbers so we can request records.

From US-64 E and Towson Ave: Head southeast on US-64 E. Turn right onto Townson Ave. Turn left onto Dodson Ave. Your destination will be on the right.

From Rogers Ave and Dodson Ave: Head northeast on Rogers Ave toward S 40th St. Turn left onto S Greenwood Ave. Turn right onto Dodson Ave. Your destination will be on the left.
