Kimberly and Jerome Templeton’s decision to add another child to their family was an easy one. The challenges that soon followed were anything but normal.
After the birth of their first child, Jerome “Paul” Templeton Junior, Kimberly and Jerome thought it would be great to have a sibling for him. Soon, Kimberly was pregnant again. But this time, an examination revealed that they weren’t adding one child to the family – they were adding three.
Being pregnant with triplets presented the couple with many unique challenges. But with the helpful monitoring of high risk pregnancy physicians at Baptist Health Medical Center, Kim had a healthy pregnancy and eventually gave birth to two boys and a girl.
After a brief stay in the NICU, the Templeton triplets came home. Now, the whole family is healthy and happy – and with the addition of the triplets, very different than it was before.
