Jennifer Dillon

Jennifer Dillon always knew she wanted to work for Baptist Health, she just didn’t know her career would begin as a patient or that one caregiver would forever impact her life.

Jennifer’s life changed in 1990 when, shortly after graduating from the Baptist Health School of Nursing, she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

While receiving treatment for her cancer in the oncology department at Baptist Health, she met Chaz Dillon, a former medical corpsman in the Navy, whom was working at Baptist Health. Soon, Jennifer and Chaz were married.

Now, 23 cancer-free years later, she’s a mother to 5 wonderful children and working as a nurse in the very same oncology department that changed her life all those years ago.

“As a child, I always wanted to be a nurse,” says Jennifer. “Little did I know how God would work this plan out.”

Keep on healing. Keep on loving. #KeepOnAmazing
