Grateful Patient Program

Heartfelt Thanks

The Heartfelt Thanks grateful patient program allows patients and family members the opportunity to pay tribute to their special care giver-- the individual or group of individuals who made the difference in their stay at the hospital-- and to support Baptist Health.

Making a Difference

Recognized care givers will receive the following through the grateful patient program with your donation to the Foundation:

  • A letter from the Foundation informing them that a donation was made in their honor through the Heartfelt Thanks program.
  • A Heartfelt Thanks logo pin to wear.
  • Acknowledgement to their supervisor stating they have been a recipient of the award.
  • Recognition in our Annual Listing of all Heartfelt Thanks Honorees.
  • The opportunity to say thank you back to the patient through an addressed postcard that they will have the opportunity to personalize.

This is your opportunity to acknowledge the exceptional care you received and support Baptist Health.

Recognition Stories

Here's what Cynthia McCrory, a CT Scan Technician in BHMC- Little Rock's Radiology Department, said after being honored by a grateful patient:

"I really try to focus on making the patients comfortable and easing their fears while they are in my care.  Our patients entrust us with their lives, and it's important for us to always remember that.  Programs like these (Heartfelt Thanks) are important, and care givers can carry that message to families and patients according to McCrory.  "Often patients and their families want to give some back.  This program allows them to recognize care givers who have personally touched their lives, and at the same time, the donations made give back to the hospital so we can continue to provide excellent patient care," MCCrory said.  "It is very speical to have been honored, and I am grateful that I am able to make a difference in my patients' lives."

Dr. Benny Green and Christi Nichols R.N. were honored this spring by the Reynolds family, below is part of what Mrs. Reynolds said about our honorees:

"I can't tell you how my husband looked forward to visiting with Dr. Green.  Dr. Green has an outstanding sense of humor and would make my husband laugh and feel better. My husband and I have never known a doctor to work so hard and be so committed to his patients."  She also said of her nurse, "Nurse Christi Nichols on the 3rd floor of Baptist Health went beyond the call of duty during my husband's visit.  She would check on my husband even when he was not her patient.  Christi expressed genuine concern for the welfare of my husband and she did so in such a loving and professional manner. Christi provided exceptional care!"
