Dr. Tim Burson earned his medical degree and completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He concluded a one-year fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and served as Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Arkansas Children’s Hospital for 4 ½ years. He has been board certified in neurosurgery since 2004. Since joining Baptist Health in 2004, he has served on multiple committees regarding professional practice and improving patient outcomes.
He has also been recognized as one of Arkansas’s Best Doctors in Neurosurgery numerous times by his professional peers.
Dr. Burson’s practice covers comprehensive neurosurgical pathologies with much of his time devoted to spinal surgery.
