Dr. Hida treats both adults as well as pediatric patients for a full range of GI diseases and disorders.
I have a patient-first philosophy which I share with my colleagues, my goal as an advanced interventional endoscopist is ensuring that my patients receive high-quality digestive care in a familiar, welcoming, friendly, and comfortable environment. I take pride in getting to know my patients and understanding their individual needs and concerns. I value my patients’ time and work as a team with my colleagues to maximize efficiencies, streamline the scheduling process, address concerns and minimize the discomfort that often accompanies digestive disorders. This philosophy guides our policies and inspires our staff. It also differentiates us from other digestive health practices. Long-term relationships are often forged between doctors and patients, this helps return patients feel more comfortable and at ease.
Dr. Hida utilizes state-of-the-art technology such as first-in-state ERBEJET® 2. It is a new dimension in hydrosurgery that allows for precise, selective tissue separation gently by waterjet. Blood vessels and nerves remain intact up to a certain pressure. The ERBEJET® 2 dissects sharply and precisely with minimal trauma to structures such as vessels, nerves and ducts.
In his free time, Dr. Hida is active in kayaking, biking, running, hiking and swimming. He also enjoys flying, skydiving, music and occasional DJ performances.
