Dr. Southard’s goal is to incorporate shared decision making with his patient and their family, whenever possible giving insight into his thought process. He loves taking care of pediatric patients because he gets to be silly and not take himself too seriously. He enjoys how resilient children can be and how much they change over time. Dr Southard enjoys cooking, hiking, camping, travel, and spending time with his wife and two children.
