My practice philosophy is to care for each patient remembering that each one of us is someone’s brother, sister, husband or wife. Each patient is unique, special and worthy of love and attention. To care for each person like they are a member of my own family.

Dr. Caldwell graduated from Hendrix College in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He then proceeded to earn a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1991. Dr. Caldwell went on to complete his internship and residency at the Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia. He returned to Arkansas to complete his Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He has over 17 years servicing the cardiac needs of central Arkansas.

Dr. Caldwell is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the Society of Cardiovascular CT, and the Arkansas Medical Society. His clinical interests are nuclear cardiology, cardiac and peripheral arterial CT, invasive diagnostic angiography with radial and femoral approach, echocardiography, clinical cardiology, and preventive cardiology.

He and his wife, Melissa, have two children. In his free time, he enjoys watching Razorback sports, golfing and fly fishing.
