Anne Brown, PA-C (she/her) is a certified Physician Assistant at Baptist Health Family Clinic West. Anne believes that every patient deserves to be heard, and deserves to be treated with care and respect from his/her/their provider. Anne is also an advocate for preventative health care, reducing risk of chronic disease by encouraging diet and exercise, prioritizing mental health, and keeping up with preventative screenings, vaccines, and yearly wellness exams. She sees patients for preventative care, acute care (“sick visits”), and for management of chronic conditions, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and more.

A native of Philadelphia, PA, Anne first came to Arkansas to work with a nonprofit teaching organization called Teach for America. During her time as a teacher in rural Arkansas, she saw a great need for improving access to medical care, particularly primary care, across the state. She went on to earn her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and then began her career in Family Medicine at Baptist Health Family Clinic in Cabot. She transferred to the West location in 2020 and has been serving patients in Little Rock and the surrounding area ever since.

Anne recently served as the President of the Arkansas Academy of Physician Assistants (ARAPA) for the year 2022 and has continued to serve on several committees as an ARAPA member. Anne is also an adjunct faculty member for the UAMS Physician Assistant program, where she delivers several didactic lectures each year, and serves as a Clinical Preceptor.

When she isn’t in the clinic, Anne enjoys spending time with her husband, Jared, and their two young children. Jared is the Youth Director at a church in Little Rock, and Anne is a frequent volunteer in the church youth program.
