Two Locations at Baptist Health for Drug Takeback Day

Did you know that Arkansas is ranked number 1 for abuse of prescription pain medication by teens?

Because of this serious problem, our state’s law enforcement community and a coalition of multiple agencies have established Arkansas Drug Takeback Day.  It’s a day for citizens to properly dispose of unneeded prescription drugs by dropping them off at designated collection sites across central Arkansas to prevent the medications from ending up in the hands of teens or others.

This year the collection day will be Saturday, April 30, and Baptist Health is sponsoring two of the collection sites.

Employees or the general public may drop off any unused and unwanted medications to law enforcement personnel who will be located at the Baptist Health Eye Center parking lot in Little Rock and the east entrance of Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
