Baptist Health Medical Center-Conway has created quite the buzz since opening last fall, and we’re excited to announce our most recent news: The Baptist Health Women’s Center-Conway is officially open!
The brand new, 50,000 square-foot, $20 million facility boasts state-of-the-art amenities and a range of advanced specialists, including laborists. Completely new to the community, laborists are board-certified obstetricians who are available to answer questions, evaluate labor progress and address any complications 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The presence of laborists provides peace of mind for expectant mothers, and makes the entire childbirth process safer for both women and babies. “As a laborist in Little Rock, I’ve seen firsthand how this program has saved lives, and I’m so honored to be able to be a part of this new delivery of care for the Conway community,” said Dr. Richard Wyatt, a board-certified obstetrician and laborist.
In addition to advanced, innovative services, Baptist Health Women’s Center-Conway also features a Level II specialty care nursery, fully equipped to care for babies with moderate health problems who are born as early as 32 weeks and weigh more than 3.3 pounds.
Patients can also take advantage of the two jacuzzi tubs to ease labor pain, and SMART beds to make their stay as easy and comfortable as possible.
