Cinde Hart

Those that have undergone weight-loss procedures tend to focus on the weight they’ve lost. For Cinde Hart, it was all about the confidence she gained.

The birth of her two children left Cinde with a challenge she had never faced before – excess weight. In addition to not being about to shop for the kind of clothes she wanted to wear, she was worried about her family history of diabetes. And even though she was walking regularly, she knew she was heading down the road to health problems in the future.

As a recovery room nurse at Baptist Health, Cinde saw the life-changing effects the bariatric procedures were having on patients. Eventually, she thought it was time to change her life as well.

Now, up to 90 pounds lighter, she’s finally shopping for the kinds of clothes that she can feel good in. And her favorite accessory is her newfound self-confidence.

“Having the bariatric procedure at Baptist Health was probably the best thing I’ve ever done,” says Cinde. “It feels like I’m finally free for the first time in a long time.”

Keep on inspiring. Keep on encouraging. #KeepOnAmazing
