New Family Suites at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock Offer Comfort and Pampering to New Mothers
Baptist Health is already the most-preferred health-care system in central Arkansas for delivering a baby by a three-to-one margin over other hospitals, which is why Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock led the state with 3,499 babies born in 2014.
We finished all of our baby classes!! Whoo hooo! I feel smarter. I’m so afraid I’m going to forget everything I’ve learned due to pregnancy brain though. Haha. Thank goodness they gave us reading material in every class. In the last night of childbirth class we learned about the different options as far as pain management for delivery, and the guys learned how to massage our backs during labor to help with each contraction.

Kendall Diana Cannady was born at 3:05 a.m. at 9lbs 7oz and 21 and half inches long! Whew!! Was I exhausted and I know she was too! I was running a little bit of a fever so the NICU team was there on deck for when she arrived. They took her over to the side and started getting her cleaned up and checked over. I was so anxious to see her, but since I had a fever I had to wait just a little bit longer so they could be sure she was fine.
