Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute (BHRI) is Arkansas’s most experienced physical medicine and rehabilitation hospital. Open since 1974, BHRI is the largest and most comprehensive rehabilitation facility in the state. Because of our West Little Rock location, patients at BHRI have easy access to the advantages of a major medical center while enjoying a warm and friendly environment.

For most people, the tasks and activities of everyday living are taken for granted. But for those who have experienced physical injury or disease impairment, these skills must be relearned, often with the aid of specialized therapies. The services offered at BHRI include: Rehabilitation Medicine, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech/Language Pathology, Rehabilitation Nursing, Care Coordination, Therapeutic Recreation, Pharmacy, Neuropsychology, and Respiratory Therapy.

The staff of BHRI is dedicated to providing specialized treatment for the unique needs of our patients. We offer a full range of individualized evaluations and services on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Our physicians and professional staff work as an interdisciplinary team with the patient and family to provide each patient with the best possible care, facilitate each patient’s return to the community, and assist in the education and adjustment of the patient and family to the diagnosis.

BHRI is approved by the Joint Commission as well as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities with Special Accreditation in Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation, Spinal cord Injury, Brain Injury, Stroke, and Amputee programs.
