The Orthopedic Program at
Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute (BHRI) is designed for individuals
who have experienced hip replacements, knee replacements, hip and
leg fractures, debilitating arthritis, or other orthopedic injuries
and conditions which limit functional abilities
The staff of BHRI incorporate a team approach in our Orthopedic
Program. The goal for each patient is to minimize disability and
maximize independence. The patient and family are key members of
the team and assist in goal setting and provide valuable input into
their care. Staff and patient/family conferences assure a unified
approach to the special concerns and problems of our patients.
The following rehabilitation professionals are involved in the
treatment of individuals with orthopedic injuries or conditions
and work together to meet the individual needs of each patient and
family:

The Orthopedic Program at BHRI offers services from inpatient rehabilitation
through outpatient therapy. Our services include:
Patients may be referred to BHRI by a physician, family member,
friend or self-referral. A screening examination may be conducted
prior to admission. The cost of treatment is covered as any hospitalization
by Medicare, Medicaid, Workers' Compensation and private insurance
