The The Baptist Health Kidney Transplant Program began in 1989 and has now completed over 800 kidney transplants. Our team is dedicated to providing evaluation for transplant candidacy and post-transplant care in a patient-focused manner within a Christian environment.

Our goal is to rehabilitate you so that your quality of life is much better than what you currently have. We are using an innovative technique called laparoscopic donor nephrectomy for most of our donors, and our survival rates compare favorably to national rates. This technique reduces the recovery time and stress for our donors.
