As one of the most caring and comprehensive US kidney transplant centers, the BAPTIST HEALTH Kidney Transplant Program began in 1989 and has just completed their 600th kidney transplant. Our team is dedicated to providing evaluation for transplant candidacy and post-transplant care in a patient-focused manner within a Christian environment.

BAPTIST HEALTH Heart Transplant Center
The first Baptist Health Heart Transplant Center was completed at BAPTIST HEALTH Medical Center - Little Rock in November 1989, and since that time, BAPTIST HEALTH has been performing heart transplants for the last 16 years. We've transplanted over 170 hearts!

KIDNEY DONOR EVALUATION . . .
If you are interested in being a donor to someone that you know very well, please call us. Kidney transplant centers offer representatives that will talk to you about your medical candidacy and work-up requirements specific to yourself.
Medicare allows us to pay for the donor work-up that we require (We cannot pay for travel, lodging, meals, and time-off work, etc.).
