The BAPTIST HEALTH Kidney Transplant Program began in 1989 and has just completed their 600th kidney transplant. Our team is dedicated to providing evaluation for transplant candidacy and post-transplant care in a patient-focused manner within a Christian environment.

The first Heart Transplant in Arkansas was completed at BAPTIST HEALTH Medical Center - Little Rock in November 1989. BAPTIST HEALTH has been performing heart transplants for the last 16 years. We've just transplanted our 150th heart!

DONOR EVALUATION . . .
If you are interested in being a donor to someone that you know very well, please call us and we will talk to you about your medical candidacy and work-up requirements specific to yourself.

Medicare allows us to pay for the donor work-up that we require (We cannot pay for travel, lodging, meals, and time-off work, etc.).
