Our Purpose

BAPTIST HEALTH Foundation was established to provide financial support for the healing ministry of BAPTIST HEALTH throughout our state-wide community. The generous support of our donors has enabled BAPTIST HEALTH to benefit Arkansans in many ways, including free immunizations and health care to children and adults in need, the first stroke awareness program with dedicated emergency facilities, and Med-Flight services to remote areas across the state.

The Foundation specializes in helping people achieve their charitable and financial objectives by making gifts of cash and other assets in a tax-wise manner. We offer a wide range of gift plans that will help you to minimize taxes, increase income and provide for your loved ones. You will also be creating a legacy that will continue your values of compassion and caring for others.

Faith, Hope and Charity

People give to BAPTIST HEALTH for a variety of reasons. Some people give out of their faith and a commitment to serve others. Others give out of gratefulness for the care and new hope they received. Still many find that a charitable gift to BAPTIST HEALTH is an effective strategy in reducing current and estate taxes - all while making a meaningful difference in the health and well-being of Arkansans.

Whatever your reason, you can feel good about a gift to BAPTIST HEALTH. Your gift can provide comfort to those who are ill, relief to those in pain, peace to hospice patients and hope for those who seek healing through BAPTIST HEALTH.

How Your Contribution is Used

Every contribution is used as directed by the donor. You may choose to have your gift used for a specific program or for a nursing scholarship. Gifts you make in honor or memory of someone are especially meaningful. You may also make a gift to the BAPTIST HEALTH Foundation Endowment. Gifts to the endowment are permanently invested, and each year the income earned from these investments is used to fund our Grant Awards Program. This program provides funds for vital equipment and health-related services that are not included in operating budgets, but which are special needs in BAPTIST HEALTH Facilities throughout Arkansas. The BAPTIST HEALTH Foundation funds several specific areas of need. Click Here for the complete 2008 list of Areas of Need.
