BAPTIST HEALTH Bolo Bash ® 2010
BAPTIST HEALTH's largest annual fundraising event is BAPTIST HEALTH Bolo Bash®. Bolo Bash® consists of a Luncheon and Golf Tournament that raise money to fund specific initiatives within the hospital system! To all those who participated last year, Thank YOU for raising $814,000 for the Ginny and Bob Shell Alzheimer's Center at Parkway Village, a BAPTIST HEALTH Community! This year the Bolo Bash® Luncheon will have its 22nd anniversary and it will be the 20th anniversary for the Golf Tournament. Click on the pictures below for more information about each event.
Our Cause
All proceeds from the 2010 BAPTIST HEALTH Bolo Bash ® will benefit BAPTIST HEALTH Medical Center-Little Rock's Emergency Department. In today's world Emergency Departments are becoming more and more crowded as people are using them as primary care. When our Emergency Department was built 30 years ago, it was designed to accommodate our 10,000 patients annually. In 2008, we saw over 58,000 patients. 60% of MEMS patients in the Central Arkansas area are brought to BAPTIST HEALTH because patients have a choice. Each patient brings an average of two to three family members with them. With only space for 29 chairs in the waiting room, many people find themselves standing or waiting outside on the delivery dock. Healthcare professionals try to serve patients and maintain their privacy; however, it is difficult due to the crowds. BAPTIST HEALTH wants to continue to improve the efficiency of the Emergency Department by: - Constructing a more visible Emergency Department entrance - Enlarging the waiting area as well as admissions and triage for quicker assessment - Adding two additional restrooms - Adding a second family room with a private restroom BAPTIST HEALTH wants you and your family to have the best care and experience as our Emergency Department healthcare professionals give you ALL OUR BEST! Please consider being a part of this project!
