2012 Beneficiaries: eICU & Telehealth
- eICU links physicians and nurses who are experts in critical care to patients by using private, high-speed data lines. Patients across the Baptist Health system are monitored 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
- Telehealth extends the hospital to the home with wireless monitoring equipment for Home Health patients with chronic diseases. Patients are remotely monitored by a nurse and are taught self-management at home.
