The 1st annual Arkansas Charity Clays blasted off on Friday, October 12, 2012. The event took place at the Blue Rock Sportsman Club in North Little Rock. The response was extremely positive and we are already looking forward to next year! We saw 121 participants over the day's 3 flights. We auctioned off 8 phenomenal items, including a Beretta A400 Xplor which sold to the highest bidder for $1,265!
Special thanks goes to our Presenting Sponsor Complete Care, Lunch Sponsors First Security Bank and Coca Cola Refreshments, and all of our teams and Baptist Health volunteers.
We not only met, but exceeded our event goal. We raised $42,000 which will be used to purchase a Bioness L300 Plus thigh cuff for Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute. The L300 Plus System is used by Rehab patients living with multiple sclerosis, stroke, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury. This technology uses wireless components to stimulate the appropriate nerves and muscles of your leg to address foot drop plus thigh weakness, which affects control over bending and straightening your knee.
