Geriatric Psychiatry

Geriatric Behavioral Health at BAPTIST HEALTH is a unit that specializes in the behavioral and emotional care of the senior citizens of our community. Our 16-bed inpatient unit offers a small and comfortable environment. We believe that family involvement is crucial and encourage participation. A community atmosphere is supported by encouraging patients to wear comfortable street clothes and by having meals in our day room. Our staff consists of a variety of professionals caring for your loved one. Referrals may be made by anyone (family member, primary care physician, nursing home, etc.).
