The Fitness Center is also offering the Building Better Bodies program. This is a 9 week Fitness Program for BAPTIST HEALTH Employees and/or Spouses. It is for individuals who are working out but don't feel that they are making any progress, or, individuals who are interested in improving their fitness level but are not sure where to start and may be intimidated by going to the "gym."

How can I become a Fitness Center member?
It's easy. Just come down to the Fitness Center office during business hours and Jeremy, A.D. or Natalie will give you the forms you need to fill out.

Where is the Fitness Center located? Where is the Office?
The Fitness Center is on the Ground Floor in BHRI. The Office is across from the main entrance of the Fitness Center in the Speech Pathology hallway.

Does the Fitness Center prepare diet plans?
The Fitness Center staff has basic nutritional information and can assist you with proper eating habits, but they are not nutritionists, so no diet plans are offered.

Will someone show me how to use the equipment?
Yes. Jeremy, A.D., or Natalie will be glad to show you, but you must make an appointment first. Give them a call at 202-7628 to schedule an appointment.

When is the Fitness Center open? What is the best time to come?
The Fitness Center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You'll need your Employee or Fitness Center badge for access. Anytime you want to work out is good; generally the gym tends to be busier from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Also the day of the week can determine how busy the gym is; the later in the week the less busy.
